Landscapes taken along the road from El Ejido to Almeria, in the heart of the area's agricultural zone, where cheap vegetables are grown for European supermarkets. Huge investments in infrastructure, namely electricity and water, have turned the area from an arid scrubland, unsuited to grow much of anything, into a sea of industrial greenhouses, the scale of which is truly staggering.
